Salman Khan's sister Arpita Wedding and Reception - 30 Pics

Salman Khan's youngest sister Arpita tied the knot with her Delhi-based beau Ayush Sharma in Hyderabad on November 18.

Arpita's Wedding Card

After the star studded mehendi and sangeet ceremonies in Mumbai, the Khan and Sharma wedding party headed to Hyderabad for Arpita Khan's lavish wedding, along with their close friends from the film industry.

Arpita and Aayush have been dating each other since 2013, and marriage seemed like a natural step to them when they became serious about each other. The two even got a green signal from their respective families to make way towards marriage. A source close to the couple has been quoted by a tabloid saying, "Arpita and Aayush are madly in love. They are very serious about each other. Aayush comes from a respectable, rich family and the Khans dote on him." The couple is so much in love that they have even inked each other’s name on their arms. Truly, it is a pair destined to be soulmates.

Salman's former flame Katrina Kaif (top, centre), who is close to the Khan family, was also among the guests at the wedding.

Another invited guest, singer Mika Singh (who sang the chartbusting Jumme ki raat number in Salman's Kick) couldn't resist giving his Twitter followers a glimpse into the revelry too.

'Salim uncle sang so well. @BeingSalmanKhan was singin Jumma then @aamir_khan was singing too. Full masti,' he wrote with the above picture.

Meanwhile, big brother Salman Khan was spotted chilling with guests Kabir Khan (centre) and Karan Johar (are we digging those ceremonial turbans on these men or what!) with the magnificent Falaknuma Palace -- the wedding venue -- in the background.

Reception

Arpita and Aayush pose for a picture with Sohail and Arbaaz Khan, their wives Seema and Malaika, Salman, his father Salim Khan, sister Alvira, brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and the children of the house.

Shah Rukh shook a leg with Salman Khan at the latter's sister's wedding reception in Mumbai, is by now a well-known fact. However, SRK's energy on the dance floor is definitely worth a mention. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the actor danced non-stop for over an hour stopping only for a sip of water before being dragged back on the dance floor by Huma Qureshi and brother Saquib Salim for some more naach-gaana. He began by dragging the recently-wed couple on the dance floor and continued to dance much after they had excused themselves. The actor danced to songs from his film, being belted out by an excited DJ. Songs like Baazigar's 'Kali kali aankhen,' Chennai Express's 'Lungi Dance' and Happy New Year's 'Indiawale' kept the superstar grooving. However, it was when Kuch Kuch Hota Hai number 'Mujhko kya hua...' was played that the crowd went beserk at SRK's moves.

Many oldies also joined in on the dance floor to shake a leg with the Baadshah Khan. Seeing Shah Rukh's rather enthusiastic dance, Arbaaz and Sohail joined him, followed by Pulkit Samrat with wife and Salman's rakhi sister Shweta and Dolly Ki Doli director Abhishek Dogra.

Rajkummar Rao, his girlfriend Patralekha, Dia Mirza and hubby Sahil Sangha also made an appearance. Surprisingly, Hrithik showed off his dance moves only for a while and Ajay Devgn chose not to at all. However, Sonakshi let her hair down and partied with the rest.

Salman's guest list also included his ex-girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani and actresses Elli Avram and Zarine Khan.
