Yuvi, Karthik go for record price, Brett Lee unsold; Sehwag sold for Rs 3.2 crore
Indian cricketers reigned supreme in early phases of auction for the seventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Wednesday, with Yuvraj Singh going to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a staggering Rs. 14 crore. Wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik attracted a winning bid of Rs. 12.5 crore from Delhi Daredevils.
Yuvraj, who was earlier with the Pune Warriors (now disbanded), and Karthik fetched the highest price among the 16 marquee players, who were up for grabs in the first session of auction.

Bajaj stuns with Pulsar CS400, Pulsar SS 400 - 12 Pics
Bajaj Auto has unveiled two new scintillating bikes - Pulsar CS400, Pulsar SS 400 - at the 2014 Auto Expo. While enthusiasts were expecting a jazzed-up version of the 200NS, the company gave them a surprise of a lifetime with these two exciting models, with the larger 375cc engines. Bajaj hasn't divulged much details on the two models, however, all we know is that both of them are already pulling crowd to the Bajaj stall, thanks to their amazing design.

Sachin Tendulkar gets Bharat Ratna Award
Sachin Tendulkar is the first sportsperson and the youngest recipient of the award till date, surpassing late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi's record.
Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and eminent scientist professor CNR Rao Tuesday have been conferred with the country's highest civilian honour Bharat Ratna by President Pranab Mukherjee at a function here today.
