Guess what is this ?
Visible from space: The giant pile of tires take up about 50 acres in a clearing in rural South Carolina
The
owner, 39-year-old George Fontella Brown, was likely stockpiling them
to sell to China before the foreign market for used tires crashed, the
Times and Democrat of Orangeburg, South Carolina, reported.
'I
believe he had all good intentions of shipping the tires out across
seas. And he kind of got stuck because they didn't do what they were
supposed to do,' Tricia Johnson, whose company, Lee Tire, is beginning
to haul away the dump by the truckload, told the newspaper.
