Sachin Tendulkar, batsman of India has 51 Test Centuries and 48 ODI centuries under his belt which is the maximum by any batsman of the world. Though every century of him is a special but following is the list of top 10 centuries he has made.

200 not out against South Africa in 2010
When the match started on 24 February 2010 at Gwalior, India, nobody had even dreamt that they would see the greatest miracle that has happened in the ODI history. It was as if 37-year-old Sachin had somehow taken himself back to his younger days. He started tormenting the South-African pace attack of Dale Steyn, Jacques Kallis, Wayne Parnell and Charl Langeveldt one by one. Few over later it became clear that it was his day and it was his show. On the 3rd ball of final over all the audience present in the Gwalior stadium burst with joy when God of Cricket, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, reached 200 and became the first man on the planet to do so.
140 not out against Kenya in 1999
This inning though against a non-test playing nation has a special place for cricket lovers, for Indians, for Sachin and yes for his father. India was playing in world cup of 1999. Sachin got the news of sudden death of his father and he returned to India missing the 2nd match of India against Zimbabwe. While many speculated that he would not return, he did and gave the best tribute he could to his father. He with Rahul Dravid destroyed the bowling attack of Kenya. Sachin made an unbeaten 140 runs from 101 balls and helped India in a win over Kenya by 94 runs.
143 against Australia in 1998
During this year Sachin was at his peak and he was definitely blistering in the Sharjah Cup. He was destroying every bowler of every team who came in front of him. It was in the final that he showed his utter class. He single handedly took India to win the Sharjah Cup by beating Australia in the final. Though he was out after making 143 runs he insured that India lifts the Sharjah Cup.
134 against Australia in 1998
It was not India versus opposite team in Sharjah Cup but was Sachin versus the whole opposition team. He helped India reach the final of Sharjah Cup and then also helped the team to win it. In the semifinal match played against Australia India needed 237 run to qualify in the final and Sachin 134 insured India?s place in the final.
136 against Pakistan in 1999
India was struggling at 82 for 5 in the fourth day of the test match played against Pakistan but Tendulkar was still fighting for India. He made a 136 run partnership with Nayan Mongia and tried hard for the win of India. He got out at a score of 136 and India went on to loose this match. But his lone struggle insured this inning a place in history book.
175 against Australian in 2009
Australia placed a mammoth score of 175 against India and it needed a gem of an innings to reach this target. Though India went on to loose this match by just 3 runs, Sachin was provide the man of the match award because of his lone fight of 175 runs. Till the time he was at the crease India had the hope of win but unfortunately he got out in the 48th over and last three wickets of India fell in quick succession and India lost the match.
241 not out against Australia in 2004
The innings he played in this test match stitched the mouth of his critics who were pointing put fingers on him because of his lack of form in some of the previous matches. He had made 241 runs when Sourav Ganguly declared the innings at 709. However the match was drawn.
169 against South Africa in 1997
Allan Donald, Shaun Pollock and Lance Klusener were formidable at their home with pacy and bouncy pitch to favor them. They declared the innings after making 529 runs and it needed a class batting performance by Indians to surpass this score. But the wickets fell in front of the South African bowlers and India was struggling at 58 for 5. Then Sachin with Mohammad Azharuddin made 222 runs till the later was out at the score of 115. Sachin carried out the fight with tail-enders but was out at the score of 169. India went on to loose the match
114 against Australia in 1992
At the young age of 18, Sachin was playing at one of the fastest and fierce pitch of the world against some of the best bowlers of that time. He played at WACA stadium at Perth in front of Australian bowlers like Merv Hughes, Mike Whitney, Paul Reiffel and Craig McDermott who were throwing bowls at such a pace that Indian batsmen had no answer. But Sachin stood in the middle and faced and tormented them till he was out at last at the score of 114. Though India lost the match but it was his courage and class for which people remember this game.
155 not out against Australia in 1998
It was the not the match between Australia and India but was between Worlds best bowler and Worlds best batsmen. In which Sachin proves that he is better. It was after this tour that Shane Warne said that he had nightmares of Sachin striking him for fours and sixes. Tendulkar made an unbeaten 155 when Azharuddin declared the innings at 418 for 4. He utterly destroyed the Australians bowling and specially Shane. Australians were defeated by 179 runs.
